no chance with either goal for me,1st is wider than some are making out,2nd is so fast that any keeper would do well to stop,but anyway

If we had a brick wall build in the goal,some of you would find something to moan about
 

Keep saying this but I want a taller keeper. Pickford is decent but doesn't command his box enough. Positioning is sometimes questionable but for me a taller keeper gets to that first goal and parried away

The difference is Pickford is Englands number 1 and has shown his quality over the years - im therefore less willing to go OTT and brand him Richard Wright MRKII.

DCL on the otherhand has done nothing but run around alot and score in 2 consecutive games - he has much to prove before he can get away with his standard Shane Long performances.

David James and Rob Hough have been England's number 1.... what's your point? Does that automatically make them great? I don't think so.... getting selected ahead of Pope and Butland isn't a marker for world class status. Nor does getting beat at near post.

I'll continue to take the plaudits of Ian Wright, Alan Shearer, Gary Neville as a guage of DCLs capabilities.....

I dont need 3 bozos who watch EFC once in a blue moon to tell me about our players.

I've seen enough of DCL in 2 seasons to know he has a hell of alot to do before he can say he deserves to be our leading CF. 2 good games against average sides isnt going to change my mind.
