I think he is already finished.

When Mina put us instantly back in front he had half time to compose himself.

He was even worse 2nd half.

He won't play himself into form because this is largely, his form. He is hyperactive and it will cost a side that is not defending constantly. The less chances we have faced, the more mistakes he makes. He just doesn't concentrate or remain focused. See Newcastle away after saving a pen (concedes 3), RS last minute, countless times the ball has gone through him, or he has just slapped it into the 6 yard box.

Buy a World Class stopper before the window closes please Everton.

He is the worst goalkeeper in the League the stats tell you that. We just call it like we see it. It's simple; he is useless and we need better.

That shouldn't be a reason to let him keep his position. He could have seriously hurt Mina today with his idiotic keeping. The back 4 don't trust him, and that leads to injuries to the defenders. So it is a false positive.

He should be dropped now.
 

A bit of perspective, it’s a lonely old high tariff position to play & we’re definitely not the first to suffer this.. Citeh, United, Chelski & the shiiite all had calamitous keepers.

It’s a worry that none of our backups are deemed good enough to allow us to take him out of the firing line.

Be interesting to see how Carlo handles this. Will he be demanding a keeper in ASAP or does he think there’s a keeper in there with the right support..
 
It's a testament to how well others have kicked on (DCL) and how good this window has been, that someone who was a long way down our immediate needs has jumped right to the top.

We need another goalkeeper or Pickford needs to find form quickly.
 

His bad mistakes are terrible but more worrying than that is his general poor decision making in the box throughout the game, we're constantly under pressure from corners and freekicks because he can't command his box, he runs after things which are nowhere near him and just allows balls to cross by him which are easily picked out of the air. You also see his mistakes regularly panic the defence who then start making mistakes themselves - they might be able to shrug it off right now with no crowd but when he starts making 40k nervous it spreads to everyone.

Everyone knows the answer though, we seriously need a replacement.
