The worst tackle I have ever seen in a derby was by Gerrard, dont remember any embarrassment or apologies for that, at least Jordan tried to apologise to Van Dyke, but you know, no matter what Pickford does or doesn't do, it will never be enough to placate the raging mob. Sincerely hope Van Dyke recovers quick and well from his injury terribly unlucky to have his leg planted at the time.

I think this might turn out to be a (positive) turning point for Pickford. The injury could have so easily been the other way around and just glad it wasn't.

If nothing else it's got the vast majority of Evertonians supporting Pickford and if the red mob and the media don't like it - so be it
