Funny how many points he’s managed to save us this season. Off the top of my head alone; the saves against Spurs first game of the season defending a 1-0 lead, the save against Henderson defending a 1-0 lead, the save against Diagne defending a 1-0 lead, the save against Vestergard defending a 1-0 lead. I’m sure there’s some I’m probably missing.
He has definitely had a drop on form at points this season but legitimately I can’t remember when he’s ‘lost us the game’ in the league? Maybe the Leicester equaliser?

Most of the keepers seem to have had bad games this season, including the likes of Alisson, Lloris, De Gea who have been at the very top at some point over the last few years. Really be interesting to know why as you would think it would be easier to concentrate without a crowd in your ear.

Just a keeper thing, remember a couple of seasons ago the usually dependable Lloris singlehandedly lost Spurs a game against City. Think Pickford will always have a mistake lurking in the background, flaps at crosses far too often to be a really top class keeper

I've been his biggest critic but he has improved of late since that game were he made 3 mistakes in 2 minutes and cost us a goal. He needs to stay on this level of consistency for a good while for me to have any faith restored in him though

This is a reversal of the "Rom doesn't score important goals" argument.

Lloris is essentially the keeper we've made Pickford into in our minds.

All I'm saying is the bad moments still count the same as Rom scoring goals 3 and 4 in a 4-0 win count.
Yeah yeah, course I know. Bad moments are also important to remember, I was just remembering that his big moments have had a big impact overall in results. I honestly can’t remember any mistakes that have directly led to us losing a game (that being said I’ve got a bad memory)
