His team allow fewer shots. His save percentage is bang average and his goals conceded are bang average considering he's playing for a top 4 team.

It's 10:24 on a Sunday morning over here. I'm clearly sober. Obviously, I'm referring to de Gea's howlers this season, in relation to the clean sheets.
My point is that's a naive way to judge the best keeper. I would like to think that people are a little more sophisticated than that.
