Average goalkeeper that's not in our list of concerns.

I always liked Jordan TBH, and he's capable of making insane saves throughout a season.

But in general his goalkeeping leaves much to be desired.

I'm happy he's signed a new contract with us but he continues to frustrate me(So far), in general.
My thoughts. He has made massive leaps though so credit to him.

Time and time again comes no with big saves when we need them. England’s number one and probably the best and most consistent performer in the dressing room.

But some here hate him……..madness
The problem with goalkeepers is it’s impossible to judge them correctly in a bad team. If you are constantly having shots blasted at your net of course you are going to be on your toes and make more class saves. If we ever become a good team again (hopefully), I would like to see him show some consistency. There are so many keepers that look crap in a good team because they have a lapse of concentration after seeing the ball once in 45 minutes. Whenever we have been higher up the table he has looked far worse.

If you look at Leeds and Leicester City with the keepers they have and we have Pickford it’s a big reason why we stayed up.

Leicester got rid of their keeper and captain and it’s cost them I reckon.

I do think Jordan has come miles in fairness to him. As I said the lad has become incredibly brave and decisive- almost to a detriment at times but it has made him a much better keeper. You can’t have a short shot stopper that isn’t willing to be proactive and cut out danger and that is where he has improved tenfold. He was always a good-great shot stopper

The difference between Jordan then and Jordan now is his decisiveness. Before he would hesitate on almost every decision that required him to leave his line and he often failed to compensate for his lack of height. His defenders didn’t trust him one bit and it often showed with body language from the players.

Even if he misses a punch here or there he makes up his mind quickly and you can tell his teammates really respect and trust him now. I think it’s safe to say that keepers get better with age. Great game
Absolutely - a few years ago the mental aspect of things was probably his biggest weakness and now it's become one of his great strengths. He and the coaches and psychologists who work with him deserve a lot of credit for that.

Has he played his last game for the club? Who knows. But surely if he looks at Richarlison and how it has gone for him at Spurs, surely he will see the grass isn't always greener.

The new stadium is only 1 season away so surely it must be exciting the prospect of leading the team out in the new stadium.

I've seen, read or heard nothing to suggest he would like to move to another club but I guess the test will be if Spurs or Chelsea come sniffing round this Summer.

Saved us big time with that save today and it was good to see him parry if to safety instead of the closest opposition player.

Saved us today, but can cost us with some of his errors. Home v Brentford flapped at a cross late in the game that McNeill cleared off the line. That mistake could have cost us 2 points and sent us down.
