To be fair I thought their Goalie commanded his box well. He caught loads of our crosses.

Get Big Nev in to teach him about owning your 6 yard box and pen area. Nev wasnt the biggest or tallest but when that ball went into the box everyone else was trespassing on his land. And he dealt with them. And as the shocking decision against fulham shows. Just come out and clout the forward and you'll get the foul.

That ball was in the air for an awful long time. Every keeper in the prem comes and catches that easily except ours. No wonder the defenders are so indesisive in the box.

He's about 3 yards from needing to claim that ball and then takes 3 steps back. The fella literally shoulders it in from about 4/5 yards.

It's terrible goalkeeping let's get that straight.

Needs to re-focus and quick as he has had a poor start to the season, I know others have but hes a big player for us.

That he looks scared at crosses brings a disconnect with the defence, that relationship is pretty key and we are seeing it breakdown too often.

It takes huge pressure off defenders if they know their keeper will come and claim crosses. Yesterday was exceptionally poor, Silva should have scored earlier when Pickford failed to come out and clear, and the cross from Neto for the goal came from a long way out, for that to be allowed to actually drop inside the 6 yard box was criminal from Pickford. He makes so many brilliant last ditch saves because he is usually stuck on his line.
