Martin would have) and walks around his box then clears the ball upfield, it may bring full-time safely.

The ball was curling away, hit at pace and at full arms length - he saved it and pushed it away and wide.

It's a modern football and acts at times like a flyaway, which you'd know if you'd kicked one. It was a fantastic stop, he did everything right. If he'd tried to catch that he'd need punching.

he was at full stretch.... but you would want him to try and catch it?

physiologically you cant reach as far with two arms stretched as you can with just one arm - plus there is absolutely no risk reward with trying to catch such a shot.

The only issue I had with the save if it was an issue was that he used his right arm to save a shot to his left side. Tim Howard did the same (opposite sides) in the Fa Cup final and lampards shot evaded him.
