What's pleasing is that in our current situation we are in a much better position to keep hold of our young players.

Part of the reason Rooney left was that we were in serious financial poop and were regarded as relegation fodder.

Now our finances are looking much more stable, we're moving to a new stadium, the team is regularly in Europe. At the moment the infusion of some exceptional young talent could be what sends us up into the top four on a regular basis.
