I remember us signing Marcus Bent late on in his career when big Joe Royle told us to sign him a few seasons earlier which was ignored , he had a great season we finished 4th - Josh King ias a similar example on our doorstep at Blackburn going fairly cheap , and we ignored him to ......
The deal is only 6 months he has a contract to earn he can play wide too.......under our financial restrictions plus our overpaid deadwood perhaps he was the best we could afford in these circumstances short term .......
Our youth policy fetching players through into the first team as signing oldish prima donas who fail like Sig etc has to stop also long contracts has to stop - welcome to Josh King as someone forecast it was an undisclosed fee wages probally dominated his choice us or Fulham ......
He has half a season to prove himself which is far better terms for us at least ........

I didn't want to sign him but he has been injured and had covid so has only just started playing full matches again, so while he has 12 apps, most of them were 5/10mins.

Dunno why there's all this dissing of Hung Po. Chicken Hung Po with fried rice and some prawn crackers is a tasty and nutritional meal (preferably with a few lagers) on a Friday night, and accompanying a good movie on the telly.
