Why take him (even on a free, bc he’ll be on a good chunk of change with no transfer fee) in the first place if 1) you’re not gonna play him and 2) get rid on another free (is what I’m reading) a year later. I don't see why he can't be given a run of 5 games to see if he's as crap as the likes of Richarlison or an Iwobi or a Gylfi where crap performances have been accepted and almost rewarded with a guaranteed start most weeks.
