It's just a pity that 'support' didn't extend to game time towards the end of his tenure. Dowell and Davies in particular should have been given more opportunities. But let's just hope koeman recognises the talent in some of these youngsters and gives them some game time should results allow e.g winning comfortably at home and bringing in a youngster for the last 20 mins or so. This is what annoyed us about moyes and how he held Barkley back. Heitinga would often be brought on as sub in preference to Barkley. Likewise Kone was brought on as sub at the expense of talented youngsters last season.
