I feel he would be a wonderful signing for us. A proper top class midfielder. If we can hold on to Lukaku, use Gana and press further up the field and have a player with the ability to slot a pass then we might be on to something.

Mata would offer us something we really currently lack, and we haven't had since through heyday of Pienaar and to a lesser extent Osman: a player comfortable keeping the ball in the final third of the pitch. A lot of times out attacks just break down, Mata would improve this a lot. Get it done please
