Transfer Rumour Juan Mata

I think this one if it comes off will be the late one of the window, there are a lot of moves being made over the next few days but this one I cant see being rushed, I dunno, unless United get a silly offer I can see him staying until he forces the move in the last few days.

As expected, the MEN say United will only consider a sale if Mata hands in a transfer request. Of course, he's fallen down in the pecking order and this could plausibly happen.

Could be a later in the window deal if so.

SSN reporting he'll stay at Manchester Utd now.

Juan Mata is likely to remain at Manchester United beyond the current transfer window, according to Sky sources.

Mata was substituted in Sunday's Community Shield win over Leicester City just 27 minutes after coming on, fuelling speculation that his days were numbered at Old Trafford.

However, it is understood the Spain midfielder, who was sold to United for £37.1m by Jose Mourinho when he was at Chelsea, could still have a role to play under the Portuguese manager.

You do know that the 'shy sources' stated in the article and having read what follows about Sweinsteiger and Janujaz in the same article - the 'sources' are basically the tweet that was linked above.

Sky Sources = an article based on a journo tweet from another rag

Hence my scepticism in my "Fabled Sky sources" post straight afterwards.
