If you sell your best player who kept you up last season, then the window has to be judged on how you replace him.

That's been a massive failure.

We better hope that players like Gordon and Gray chip in with 6 or 7 goals apiece or this season will be a disaster.

And dont believe the striker situation will be sorted out in January. That isn't going to happen. This is it until May 2023.

If DCL stays fit for the rest of the season then they've really got away with it.

It's a strange one as I'm happy with pretty much all of our signings but the failure to get an actual alternative striker to DCL could really, really leave us struggling.

Just praying DCL stays fit and Gordon, Gray and Maupay give us enough goals on top.

It's a weird one. We look massively better at the back and in the centre of midfield but to not bring another attack in maybe even two is baffling. Don't think we will ship many goals and we will be hard to beat but the lack of goals is a huge concern. Can't see where they're all coming from.

Looks like Lampard is hoping we can spread goals around the team mate, I'm sure I've heard that before though.

Had we signed a goal scoring wide player would have been a 9/10

All the flapping over a CF when Lewin is back soon. Yes its a gamble if he'll stay fit but its a gamble the club unfortunately have to take with our FFP situation.

Maupay as a 2nd striker for £15 millions was shrewd business.
