The serie A is no nonsense old fashioned league. Its physical and players get on with it. PL is physical but if he makes those tackles here no matter if he wins the ball or not there will be fuss. Refs in PL do not allow a tackle with a raised leg or a tackle where you clear the man himself with the ball. You have players who make a fuss for those kinds of challenges and stupid refs who wouldn't allow that I think. The lad would have to curb his aggression in the PL.

Fully agree. Hard to compare with Juve as theyre all top notch but of course have a top defensive unit compared with Napoli and Roma where Manolas and Koulibaly are the main me.

Not paid much attention to murillo (certainly not as much as you!) Just know he went to Italy as a kid then spain and back to italy all before his 23rd birthday which is quite interesting especially as a colombian.

Whats your thoughts on Manolas, do you think he will be off this summer + any other top players rumoured to be moving other than pogba?

Agreed in defensive prowess. However Koulibaly can really ping those long passes all the way down the pitch just like koeman used to do....tah hasnt shown that.

Stones also for all his promise hasnt shown that either, if he stayed then perhaps koeman would encourage him to do so....but id love to see Koulibaly picking out Deulofeu for a 1st time cross onto lukaku.

Massive threat.
 

Lads, we ain't signing this fella. If Stones goes, we'll get a 10 - 15m replacement. You NEVER need to spend this amount of money on a centre back, ever ever ever.

And yet moutinho just spent £30mil on bailly...City are after Stones for £50mil odd and chelsea bid £38mil last season....mangala and otamendi werent cheap either.

Scott Dann was £20mil last summer...
