So he's using us to get a better deal from Chelsea?

Because it doesn't represent value to us, at all. No guarantees he could adapt to the league and for the fee paid it could really go badly tits up.

Not only that, and I've never seen him play I'll admit right now, is he going to be THAT much better than a 20 million pound defender we could get elsewhere? Is the marginal difference in cost outweighed by the marginal increase in ability?


We're not in the Euro millions level of clubs yet and I think that amount of money could be better spent over a couple of players.

Time will tell mate, don't get me wrong I wished Stones had wanted to stay but his desire to leave us has been there for a year or so now, methinks down to RM.
