EVERTON look to have lost their chance in securing Japanese international Keisuke Honda.

According to new reports in Italy, the San Siro side have reached an agreement to sign the attacking midfielder in January.

The Italian giants will still attempt to try and bring the 27-year-old to Serie A this summer if a deal can be worked out with Russian outfit CSKA Moscow.

Honda was thought to be keen on joining his international team-mate Shinji Kagawa in the top flight, having helped the Army Men to championship triumph last season.

Toffees boss Roberto Martinez will now have to turn his attentions to new targets, with concerns being raised about the future of Goodison Park's star player, Marouane Fellaini.

AC Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani confirmed the news, telling the media: "I strongly wish that Honda could arrive at Milan during the January window."

"If he isn't able to play in the Champions League, he will be like Balotelli, who arrived in January and didn't play in the Champions League."

Tbh this is just a rehash of an artical from about a week and a half ago. I reckon it's on, and can see this happening.

But if you look at the facts, Milan have out right said they only want him on a free. Why haven't they agreed a pre contract then? The robinho deal has fell through since this statement was made as well and they are only allowed one more foreign player in there squad and they are also skint so they wont be offering him crazy wages either. Ac Milan is the more attractive offer sure but only because of the champions leauge. If we can convince Honda that we are creating something new and creative in the Best leauge in the world instead of a rotting team in a corupt leauge maybe just maybe. An by time he realises its all a lie it will be to late mwhahaha!


Maybe am just being optimistic but hey this is an optimistic time for everton I think so that's what am going to be.
