So if he does complete the move, what way does everyone see us lining up? He looks like he plays off the left but right footed, so cuts in all the time. So play pienaar behind Jelavic, Naismith on the right and Mirallas on the left cutting in allowing baines plenty of space down the channel.

YES,YES? Ok its agreed then.

I'd rather have him on the right, Pienaar on the left and Naismith or Osman behind Jelavic, but there's a hell of a lot of options and permutations. We don't get to say that often, do we? Hopefully Moyes makes the most of it and have us playing some proactive football.

All 3 will interchange that's how I see it

I think its mental to break the Pienaar - Baines left hand side combo mate. If it aint broken! I would like to see Mirallas on the right and Naismith attacking mid.
In reality, for the Utd game at least, I think it'll be Pienaar - Osman - Naismith. Although wouldn't be surprised if Fellaini played attacking mid as much as we need him at DM.

For United it will definitely be Fellaini behind Jelavic and Neville alongside Gibson. Probably Osman on the right.

If your going to play a forward on the wing, he has to at least be able to cut in. Like i said, hes ace at hitting the byline and skilling his way in.

You could well be right there mate, as it's obvious that Miralles llikes to cut in from the left & he'd be much more of a direct goal threat there than Pienaar imo. So playing him in his favoured position would make sense. However, the Baines / Pienaar understanding is fantastic down the left, so might prove counter productive. Be a nice problem for Moyes to have though.

Moist will play him in the hole lads.

If he even signs, why hasnt he signed yet?

Too many people counting chickens.

Whats our name?

Yeah, Everton, the Club that cocks up every single incoming transfer since 2001.

The key thing is options, really. We could switch it up mid-game as much as we wanted to.

And although I love the Baines/Pienaar link and would probably keep it as it is, Pienaar did really well for us when Baines was injured. Also, playing centrally doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to link up with Baines. Arteta linked up with Baines a lot when he played CM/CAM.
