Kevin Mirallas

Mirallas was a 60 minute player no matter what happened on Sunday. If the physio asked him how it felt at the half and he said it was a little tight, you pull him, no questions. I doubt he misses any time.

I wouldn't be so sure. Towards the end of the first half he went on a run across the face of goal and pulled up short clutching his right hamstring. Didn't look good at the time.

BUt he also ran it off until half time, it wont be anything to worry about. Just purely a little too soon for 90mins.

Isn't it quite common for players coming back from injuries like this to often get similar smaller injuries when they come back?

Like even simply a tight hamstring.

He is fooking magic.

I have not bee as excited watching a player for years.

Players like him are rare, very rare. Bieng able to run at pace with the ball, with skill, and have an end product!!!

We need to be clever and get him on a huge contract in the next 12 months, as he will be wanted all over europe.

Hamstrings are always weakened and more prone to injury when you've done them once. It's even more likely when you are a player like Mirallas whose game is based upon short, sharp bursts of acceleration. Hopefully the medical/sports science staff can come up with a way of managing it and limiting the chances of it reoccuring as much as possible.

No, if there's a game to rest him, it's against stoke. Some one a bit more physical would be better. Hibbo an Naismith are probably the best pair on the right.

Don't agree. If he's fit he's the ideal player to use against Stoke. If we try & match them in a physical battle then man for man we will lose. Pace & trickery against their cumbersome backline would be much more effective imo.

hopefully hes fit enough for the bench so he can come on if needed for the last 30 mins
