Oh, and the front three of Jela/Naisy/Mirallas (Mira to his mates? Oh no.) with no Cahill is making me anticipate some really tasty football from us these coming days.

Oh jeebus, i just let myself slip there now.

How can we fit Miralas, Niang, Donovan, Dempsey and Phillips into our staring line up with Peanuts, Jelly and Naismith... not to mention Felli in the Cahill role? surely McFadden would be a better buy!

Mirallas league record for the last couple of seasons:

2011/12 - 25 starts, 20 goals (Olympiacos)
2010/11 - 24 starts, 14 goals (Olympiacos)
2009/10 - 14 starts, 0 goals (Saint-Etienne)
2008/09 - 18 starts, 3 goals (Saint-Etienne)
2007/08 - 19 starts, 6 goals (Lille)
2006/07 - 11 starts, 2 goals (Lille)
2005/06 - 3 starts, 1 goal (Lille)
2004/05 - 0 starts, 1 goal (Lille)

The cynic in me says he's only been hitting double figures since he joined an inferior league (no offence to any Greeks, I'm sure you understand). However, he is still only 24 and already has a wealth of experience under his belt. My hope is he picks up where he left off last season, and comes to us confident about his chances of scoring double figures again. Because let's face it, that's the sort of return we need from him if we wish to fulfill ambitions of a European finish.

Also, I definitely see him on the right and Naismith central.

It's amazing that you left Piienaar out of that list and it STILL looks bloody brilliant.

He's still youngish mate. He was a lot younger when he was at Lille and Saint-Etienne, he's 24 now, hitting his straps, playing for the national team. He'll be quality. If Arsenal were looking at him, can't be a bad signing.

Kevin Mirallas

Right winger, around £5.5m. Got sheer pace and can play left wing and sometimes centre. Belgian. Seems good
