Becoming a joke, need this lad like mad. Unfortunately looks like we have a major sicknote on our hands.

In the five seasons before this one Mirallas didn't miss a single calendar month of football for his team, he played in every single month of each season for five years straight.

I'd love to know how this 'injury prone' tag has stuck just because he's had a bit of severe hamstring trouble.

Ah a single calender month. Ok well how many of those calender months was he injury free for the whole month.

Oh and previous seasons account for someone who becomes injury prone. Na lad. You can becone injury prone by one big injury. Ask Michael Owen. #hamstring

But nobody would have called Michael Owen injury prone during recovery from his first major hamstring problem would they ? That would make them look thick.

There are hardly any wingers at the highest level who don't have hamstring trouble at some point in their career. That does not automatically make them injury prone. Nani is such a player who is suffering from it at the moment. These things happen. Anyway, RE: his appearances:

2006/07 he played at least three games a month with the exception of September, when he played once. In some months he played four and in some five.

2007/08 he played at least three games in every month, he played four in most of them and five in some.

2008/09 he played at least three games in every month, with the exception of January when he played twice.

2009/10 he played at least three games in every month, with the exception of April when he played once.

So in four years he played at least three times per month with the exception of three months. I don't have the precise stats for 2011/12, although he played just as many games that season as 2009/10 so it's safe to assume he had no major injury worries then either.

Proper injury prone is our Kev !

So you agree in his career so far hes sat out at least one game a month. (your stats)

Hes sat out a hell of alot for us played at least 3 first halfs and hobbled of injured. It doesnt look good at the moment. Even more so hes been sent to the german specialist because the club is "worried".

Michael Owen is an example of someone with recurrent hamstring problems who became "injury prone". Kev could go the same way.

Yet you say otherwise because you think this is his first big injury of his career. Could be the start of recurrence.... "Could" being the word here

Erm, no. Certainly not through injury.

Take a look at Everton's fixtures this season. We don't always play five games per month, you would imagine the same is true of French and Greek teams. Also, some of those missed appearances could have simply been him sitting on the bench.

Basically i've given plenty of evidence to show he's not injury prone, he's had no lengthy absences in five years.

It could be the start of a long series of injuries, but there is absolutely nothing to suggest that will be the case. That's why labelling him 'major sicknote' is stupid.

Could, but there's nothing to indicate it.

One major hamstring problem does not a sicknote player make.

Tim Cahill once suffered an injury that kept him out for most of the 2006/07 season. He then went on to be a pretty much constant feature of Everton's team for three years on the bounce.

Arteta was another one. He suffered that big injury problem in 2008, and despite not being the same once he came back from injury he's gone on to make 30 appearances a season for the last three seasons, and is said by many Arsenal supporters to be a key player.

Thats like me saying Casiragi was one of the best strikers in Europe then one injury ended his career.

Has he been a sicknote this season?

Such poor claims, you can say this about any player in the world who has missed a couple of months - we're just over halfway through the season and you're writing him off which is just plain madness. Fellaini broke his foot a couple of seasons ago, what a sick note ey?

He has a very hard time admitting he's wrong this lad.
