I do wonder how strong that interest was to be honest but regardless of that he's looking a great buy . Pace and talent like he clearly has are rare in the game & certainly at goodison , it's also one of the best things to watch .
 
What a buy from Moyes. We all know what happened to jelevic but i recken Mirrallas is star quality as he got pace, skill, strengh and vision. The question is how good can he be?

Whilst I kind of agree we have NO one else to play RW if mirallas doesn't play there. And tbf I think Osman has been good in CM pretty much all season.

Just having Donovan aswell this season would of made a massive difference and given us so many more options. Damm us being so skint!! Which is why we're on the tail of the CL spots not well and truly in them.

I think we needed him more. They're doing all right for that kind of player (walcott, ox, gervinho, podolsky etc) where as we haven't had someone who runs at people since kanchelskis.

I imagine our interest was a lot firmer.
 

Being a relatively recent supporter of everton i've never seen anyone run at players AND actually finish the way mirallas does in a blue shirt.
Truly boss.
 
I really want him in behind the striker with a free role. Anichebe and him up top. Pace, power and flair. That's the type of combination you want.

Like others I've wanted Felli and Gibson back in midfield for ages. They'd make us much stronger in my opinion. Teams couldn't waltz through us anymore.

Only problem is our right hand side. Ossie will have to go out there. Ossie tucking in with quick feet and Coleman with the pace on the overlap. It might actually work fairly well.
 
I know Ross was poor yesterday but having players like him, Mirallas and Osman who can all move from 3 or four positions if they aren't getting any joy will be a god send if we eventually start playing that way.

Makes you so much more difficult to plan for tactically and defend against in-game.

i didnt say i would play mirallas there but he would be an option. we have so many options but we never use them or give them a chance. mirallas, pienaar, naismith, osman and barkley could all play there
