Bad news, he been our best player as well. He having bad luck with Injuries. Last season Suarez didn't get injured for one game or Sterling and both of these attract tackles like Mirallas.

People are joking but snidey cart horse players are injuring our key players an consistently getting away with it. Martinez has had 2 opportunities now to do a Wenger and play the "protect our players" routine to the refs but won't as gomez and mutch are two former players so won't speak out against then.

Just hope it ain't to bad as pienaar and mcgeady don't full me with much confidence against Southampton

Martinez should have done that. Those crap kept injuring our top players.

Disaster this really. Hard to say who should play wide if he's out. Presume McGeady would be one side but the other side could be any of Oviedo, Kone, Osman, Pienaar, maybe even Garbutt. (Don't really want to see Ross, Naismith or Eto out wide again)

Manager Roberto Martinez confirmed Mirallas will be assessed tomorrow and admitted there was some concern over the Belgian, who scored Everton’s second goal.

“The injuiry to Kevin is the real negative from today,” Martinez told Sky Sports.

“He got a really bad knock to his ankle and he will have a scan in the morning to see the extent of the injury.

“It was a real disappointment to see him carried off at the end.”

Mirallas, who joined Everton from Olympiakos in 2012, has been an important part of the first team this season, making 12 appearances and scoring five goals.
