The issue for Kev seems to be more about playing in Europe, especially in the CL, rather than the money per se. He has previously said he wants to play in Spain at some point in his career and that he'll look at his contract situation in the summer. We have an option to extend his contract for another year but unclear if that needs his agreement to trigger. Presumably he'll be looking to leave if we are not in Europe next season which given our league points probably means winning the Europa.

He won't be going anywhere this window. Who knows after that.

That pretty much confirms what I was thinking - he won't be leaving in this window but there is a distinct possibility that he may do so in the summer.

He has but I haven't seen him post any details of what can trigger it. Presumably unlikely that we can extend it without the agreement of the player unless it is based on something like number of starts similar to the Eto'o contract. With the amount of time Kev has spent out injured not sure if the games he missed would count.

I would hope it was just if we wanted to add an extra year and had no strings attached.

This is Everton though, it'll be related to bowel movements or something.

he's likes it here, he just wants to win. Don't think he's after money or anything like that. If he does end up leaving here I could see A. Madrid being a good fit as they're fighting in the top 3 and in CL. Not a very wealthy club either so he wouldnt get ridiculously high wages. He's one of my favorite current players at the club though and love his passion in big games so I'd want him to stay. you'll see next weekend what Kev brings to this club
 
Absolute LOL at the Spurs fans thinking cash + Lennon is a good deal for Mirallas HA.
Kev has always loved it here, still does. But he's 26/27 now so he knows he's got one more move in him and he wants it to be Champions League.
