Nah the quality of the (Everton) forum has gone downhill of late for sure, and a big part of that is down to kipper's death. A lot of sound posters have migrated here though from these forums (weren't you originally a kipper poster?) as well so let's not generalise too much.

Perhaps the guy he has got it off said it was signed and sealed, so its just passing the message on mate. Not necceserily his decision to word it like that.

Some just can't win, if he had said we rae interested in him, and we signed him 2 hours later you'd b going 'you're not in the know, you didnt even know hehad signed' blah blah
