I'm not knocking him for being right about the interest from our club. Credit to him for that and I'm not knocking him for posting either.

It's how he's wording his posts and putting the information across that I'm questioning. If you're going to go around 'boldy' claiming it's a done deal you're only lining yourself up to look a bit stupid if it all goes wrong.

Sheedy would post with a bit more tact than DAVIDMOYES does. His info might be good but his style leaves a lot to be desired.

stop ya moaning will ya, if i was him reading this i wouldnt bother my arse giving us info anymore. if you dont want this title tatle and in some cases more, stick to waiting for the yello bar on SSN or get your finger covering f5 on the OS

He played against England in the recent friendly and looked decent. Played on the left, almost like Pienaar, and drifted inside alot. Good ball control and he could take the ball on the half turn well but I don't remember him beating Glen Johnson in many one on one situations. He may fare differently on his more natural side, to be fair to him.

Hopefully he's wing forward style player we've been lacking.

Spot on?

The guy wasn't an Everton player last time I checked.

You obviously need to learn how to read mate.

He isn't not an Everton player though by all accounts, it's subject to medical which seems to be the overriding consensus as was stated later on by the OP. Doesn't mean that the paperwork i.e personal terms and transfer fee wasn't sorted out

Greek press (sport radio) is reporting that Olympiacos is denying that any deal has been done. The club paid 2.5M for him two yrs ago and would potentially be looking for a fee of 7M if a deal was to be done. (release clause is not 5.3 apparently)

They also mention that Arsenal are keeping an eye on this as the RVP to Utd saga unfolds.

Mirallas' agent has already spoken to clubs interested in the player. If any English club pushes for this to go ahead it will happen as personal terms would easily be agreed to... Basically Olympiacos cannot matches the wages that would be offered.

No formal offer has yet been made to Olympiacos.

This is a good point.

I'm sure the lad is versatile, but from what I have seen, there is absolutely no doubt that his best football has come from when he has been playing in the position that Pienaar will mostly occupy this season.

He looks good in that video. Very tricky, which isn't exactly a hallmark of a Moyes signing.

Pienaar, Naismith and possibly this guy. I can't believe we might be signing THREE attacking players in one transfer window.

Yeah true. It sounds likely it is, but we don't know wether he's just using us to draw interest from other clubs or wether he will come here.

DM could be totally right and we may sign him, I hope we do.

I like the style davidmoyes uses to drop itk bombs, well done lad on creating the most interesting thread on everton since the internet began. The longer it goes on, the more my everton/disappointment radar goes mental but I'm choosing to believe he'll have his medical and be announced soon.
Also pmsl at rfus' "Belgians lad, Belgians" from 50 pages back.

Arsenal will have cash to splash if RVP goes to United and Song to Barca , hopefully they spend it elsewhere , can't feel confident of getting this lad in if Arsenal are in for him too .

Isn't that kind of what Pranjic did earlier in the summer?

I dont really know much about the lad but there seems to be a growing buzz around him and the fact that people are genuinely excited about the prospect of his arrival makes me feel that he is worth getting excited about.
