He has played it before. He wasn't very good. It's such a shame we couldn't be more confident of Mirallas being able to play that no.10 role...
I'm struggling to recall a game where Mirallas played as a 10 - point me in the right direction? He has played it before. He wasn't very good.
He definitely played it in Martinez's first Goodison derby, after Baines went off injured Barry moved to LB, Barkley into CM and Deulofeu took Mirallas's RW roleI'm struggling to recall a game where Mirallas played as a 10 - point me in the right direction?

Kev did well in the role as well.
Can't recall any other time though, perhaps that loss to Crystal Palace at home, again in the first season?
well he's never really played the role much. he was a striker in greece and plays as a winger for us most of the time. can't learn a role if you dont play itThe lad has got everything u need to fill that role except for his football brain, as a no10 the first thing on your mind is finding the pass for the best positioned player, i mean a player in that role u do just know where everyone is, u see what other people dont. kevs biggest downfall is the first thing on his mind is him!! dont get me wrong i’d love to see him prove me wrong i just think he does worry bout himself to much for that role
McGeady is easily our most talented player.
I really do hope we get rid off him next season, he's like a lost boy when he's on the pitch.
Sell him now..
Sell him. No player bigger than the club
I think we should sell him. It would send a message out and be done with the issue. Since he wants to go I don't think there's any reason to draw it out.
What I would do is sell him to the highest bidder regardless of who is his preferred choice and only if we can get a quality replacement that won't be cup tied.
Hope we sell him. What he did last night with the penalty was as much as a farce as Stallone at half time. Utter embarrassing
He promised the earth. Remember his I will score loads of goals boasts at the start of last season.
Skillful and fast players are 10 a penny.....get a some money get rid ...find somebody who wants to be with us
Last night looked like we were carrying a passenger for all the work he put in. I would gladly sell him and get some one who had a bit of enthusiasm to play for us. Heck even McGeady if fit would have been better than him last night.
Get rid for as much as we can get
Not really arsed, he's so ineffectual sometimes - even with a full 90 minute game.
If we can make a profit on the £5m be bought him for, I'd sell straight away - and get someone who actually wants to play for us.
Ive been saying sell him after that peno incident.
Thing is tho this aint Mirallas FC if he kept his gob shut & done his talking on the pitch for more than 15/20 minutes we'd all be happy.
Goes without saying class act when he's on his game, unfortunately those games are few and far between.Too good for the club...bye Kev.
Get the fee anywhere near £12M and I'd take it in a heartbeat.
The feller's more of a hindrance than a help all told. He scores the odd eye-catching goal, but he does not fit into a team unit and costs us in terms of shape. His attitude concerning his future is a massive drag on team morale also. I really dont like the idea of him limping on into a new season with Everton. Get rid asap and recycle the cash.
To be honest i would sell him to the highest bidder now.
I like mirallas, but roberto doesn't and kev has all these aspirations that we cannot fulfil right now. What we could do (if the board arent tits) is sell him for double figures and invest that money back into the team and perhaps sign another mirallas player, cheap and not a house hold name. Keep the wheels turning that way.
Wouldn't for a moment dispute his talent
No point in keeping him for a season of injuries and then let him tootle off to Spurs for free
Get rid now and get some dosh in, he's a divisive character and his dissing of Bainsey is forever unforgivable for me
Like it or not, Kevin like Lukaku aided Everton's problems last season. They caused problems in the dressing rooms (from various sources) and it even showed on the pitch (penalty debacle).
When you're in trouble, your true players show themselves and unfortunately I saw a side to Mirallas that I did not like. I would much prefer to sell him off for some cash and Lennon on top.
Lukaku can't be sold, his goals alone helped Everton avoid the drop. Mirallas though is replacable and should be if we want to keep team spirit in the camp.
sorry lads.
