During our Europa games I was shocked how scathing and highly critical of us he was throughout his stints as co-commentator... his Yagyelka phase. Im all for honest criticism but he was well OTT and sounded as though he had a real chip on his shoulder.

He also touched on the fact that if he said anything negative about the club he would be labelled as being negative. He also said that if he said positive things he would be labelled as being blind or having a laugh. No win situation really

Not heard the fella say one good word about the club since the day he left tbh.

And I for one have agreed with every word.

He has every right to.....we have been utter gash since he left (rot started prior to him leaving though!)

Always found him to he brutally honest
Given his record and lifted trophies he has earned the right to slag the club the current crop of players and whomever he sees fit
regarding Everton as his standard as captain as never been equalled never mind bettered and his teams work ethic and success cant be matched by any team that's come after his teams
