Probabaly worth noting that his role with us was only part time, and the new role he now holds meant he had to also leave his other 2 positions. So his 'moving on', was likely purely a career decision, or contract end, rather than a decision based upon the workings within Everton.

No he was full time with us.

I don't blame Thelwell.

We've seen that this board over many transfer windows are prepared to purchase players amongst themselves.

They knew the state we were in and could easily have made transfers happen.

We didn't sign anybody because the owner / Kenwright didn't want us to.

As anyone who has been instrumental in Preston and New York Wanderers winning the World Cup will tell you, it takes 4 weeks to find out if (a) a player is available and (b) wants to join. Kev worked miracles in accomplishing this complicated feat in a mere 25 days.
