There'll obviously be people who'll poopoo most signings he makes just for the sake of it.. but I've got to say that the highly versatile & experienced Ashley Young now joined by the powerful & direct Danjuma is a solid start to this summer.

Gnonto, a striker & another defender would be perfect IMO, particularly if we can recoup some cash for the likes of Holgate, Maupay & Gray in the process.

We’ve bought in two players who can go straight into the first team for less than we’ve recouped from a youth player who wasn’t good enough going out the door. There’s work to do but I’m all for the approach of not wasting money on players if we don’t need to. Nothing wrong with free signings and loans if they improve the squad and these two players do.
