Why did he sign Chermiti who is clearly not quite ready yet, in a summer where we had no budget?

Because we signed him paying very little up front and probably in many installments, with a lot being performance based. So in fact, bearing in mind his wages are probably relatively modest, he is not really an expensive signingWhy did he sign Chermiti who is clearly not quite ready yet, in a summer where we had no budget?
Who knows if it was really him, Moshiri or Kenwright - or who got a slice of the fee on sideWhy did he sign Chermiti who is clearly not quite ready yet, in a summer where we had no budget?
That may well be true, but its not really a good reasonBecause we signed him paying very little up front and probably in many installments, with a lot being performance based. So in fact, bearing in mind his wages are probably relatively modest, he is not really an expensive signing
Chermiti cost practically nothing. Low wages and 2 million amortization. Look at what a 25 year old striker costs, this was a good decision. He’s got a very difficult job but this team he’s put together is absolutely diabolical. Chasing Beto and Danjuma for a year? Throwing money at Chermiti? So so weird.

Jury’s still out obviously, but in our financial position he has to get the big buys right and find real value elsewhere in the market. Is he crap again?

The Beto one is a huge miss. He’s barely contributing, doesn’t look like he will anytime soon. We can’t afford a miss at that level.

It’s only a good decision if he makes it as a Prem striker, which is anyone’s guess.
Of course we do...but over the length of the contract it isn't really an expensive deal. In fact far from it. The hope is that he eventually becomes a good striker. May have to go on loan next season to continue his developmentErm, you are aware we do have to pay for him aren’t you?

But they were free?It clearly is an expensive deal if he turns out absolutely crap. It was not a signing we needed at this time.
You don't know that...we have to take chances on young player that have potential. I think we will at the very least get most of the money back in a couple of seasons if he is not the solution to our attacking play.It clearly is an expensive deal if he turns out absolutely crap.
