Kia Joorabchian

He’s also heavily involved with Arsenal who have made some strange signings over the years.

Basically when we need a player or a manager Moshiri gets on Kia. Iwobi was the prime example. Needed to get a winger so Kia sorts us out iwobi and gets Arsenal £35m. El Ghazi is here to help villa balance the books after the Digne transfer. He’ll hardly play this season.

It was a major sticking point for brands but he won out a few times when Moshiri was trying to push players recommended by Kia.

Now he isn’t here, and there’s little influence on the board he’s free to run wild.

So essentially, it's Kia on the left and Mosh on the right?

There seems to be a lot of talk among fans, particularly on Twitter, that this bloke has Moshiri's ear and is exerting some sort of influence over the club.

Rumours are that he was the driving force behind the Iwobi and El Ghazi deals, and now that he's the reason behind some of the more eyebrow-raising candidates that we're apparently considering for our new manager.

So what do we actually know? Is there any actual evidence of his involvement or is it all hearsay? Does anyone know anything?

And if he is involved in the way many people seem to believe, what does it mean for our club?

He’s been absolutely instrumental in most of Arsenals signings since Wenger left through to probably the Arteta reign.

It’s absolutely no surprise that Moshiri/Usmanov we’re part of the board during that reign.

Something stinks, I remember at the time Iwobi was linked somewhere else for like half what we paid, so obviously there’s something in it for him. But is there for Moshiri too?

He was all over the Chinese market and did a fair few deals with Guangzhou when Cannavaro was the boss, so even though he doesn’t directly have a link, I’m sure that’s a good way to have a feel for Cannavaro. The links that he’s his agent are far from the truth.

But everyone knows agents love money, so you’ve got to question, what’s in it for him, being so cushy with Moshiri, and we’ll… yeah it’s money.

Surely Moshiri can see with Iwobi, that you can’t have an allegiance to one agent, is an idiotic move.

Kia was one of the people behind the ruin of QPR also. If you Google him there's been more than once he's came out denying allegations of involvement with different clubs. Clearly up to his balls in it as an "intermediary". Needs to be kept far far a way from our club esp now. There are far better agents out there Moshiri lad

It's becoming more and more evident of deals being sanctioned to line his pockets.

Frightening because it's totally out of our control.

You get into bed with agents and it goes real sour, real fast.
So what does Mosh get out of it ? Can't be just lining Kia's pockets Mosh must be getting something out of this too, is it some elaborate laundering scheme ?

More conspiracies based on 2 deals?

We got Iwobi cos we didn't get Zaha and El Ghazi is a loan?

He's not exactly getting 20% of £80mill deals like Raiola is he?

Fair points except that Moshiri and Usmanov have never been on the board at Arsenal
