Here’s a conspiracy….. if it wasn’t a bad prognosis they would have kept it quiet and dealt with it away from the public eye. Hopefully not though.

To be honest they should just say what it is to avoid weeks of speculation like we have had with Katherine.

Best wishes to him , watching my mate newly diagnosed with throat cancer about to start the treatment,he's scared , nervous, and desperately vulnerable.
I'm sure all the trappings of royalty and wealth don't stop the emotions Charles probably has, battle ahead for him and thousands others,couldn't do anything but hope they get through and out the other end.

He didn’t have prostate cancer though, he had Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia like a lot of men of his age and younger (and me).

Fair point - I re-read the news articles I'd seen - I was incorrect re my inference about prostate cancer. I appreciate you noting that.

To be fair I won’t knock the NHS, someone very close to me went to have her toe nails painted and the person doing it spotted a mole on one her toes, the person went to see her GP and was referred to hospital within 3 weeks, she’s dermatologist and was straight away referred to a plastic surgeon and within 10 days was given a date for an operation which is happening on Thursday this week… less than 3 weeks after seeing the plastic surgeon, I think that’s pretty quick.

Sometimes it's a postcode lottery the NHS - I would never go private as the so called spires are mainly NHS specialists it's just cue jumping imo

Cancer has been too close for comfort with me in the past few years. A parent and a sibling both were diagnosed with the disease. One is in remission and one is recovering from surgery. An absolute scourge of a disease that someone rightly said earlier needs binned ASAP.

Hopefully Charles has a speedy recovery and returns to full fitness.

Hope he he gets well from this. He is just a couple of months older than me. Both my older brothers had cancer, one died at 42. The other one had colon cancer but he is cancer free now. I seem to be ok though.
