Nothing but respect and fond memories for the people of kirkby. I've spent 35 of my 55 on this world years away from Kirkby but it's still the place this proud son of Kirkby calls home. Best mate came from Tower Hill, wife from Westvale.

Call me a wool if you wish, but I'm a Kirkby wool and wouldn't be anything else.

Ormskirk is badly incest. I've seen lads with muzzies that grow upwards.

Spent my first 21 years in Kirkby, both my old schools have shut, so I guess that makes me old - at 31.

Lived in Southdene, but one of my homes was literally over the (County) road to Northwood. Directly facing the Molly :lol:

I saw Ormskirk get a mention, I live in Burscough now (had a job, my family are there and I cared for a family member for a while), but I'll always 'be from Kirkby'.
