Hi, older Evertonian here, sorry to say, but whilst you always had a great loyal fanbase, you really were a nothing club when I was growing up.

But you are now probably the biggest and best club in the world and I am more than happy to admit we are now the nothing club.

We were a "nothing club" for almost 35 years as trophies go and that's largely due to constant interfering of our ex charman Peter Swales, but we still got good crowds. In 98/99 season in old div 3 we averaged around 33k and it would have been higher if our capacity allowed it. Everton haven't won a trophy for 19 years but no way would i say you're a nothing club because of your history and large fanbase.

Have to wonder what Klopp's got wind of. Strikes me as a move you make when one realises the working environment is going to get a bit rubbish. Or there's a better offer on the Horizon.

Kinda hope it's a combination of both. Bit of economic woes would be amusing for them, but the piss that would be boiled if he rocks up at a European rival and proclaims them too big to turn down, or his greatest challenge, a special unique club etc.

I think Sean might have took a very long leave of absence from social media in the aftermath of his VVD post. Think his mam might have confiscated his phone and made him 'Sean Promise' to stay off social media for a while.
