Klopp to step down.

He sounds and looks guilty of something to me, very evasive and wish washy answers.

Why are the entire lot of back room staff jumping with him as well? Just odd.

I thought that little scrote linders was lined up to pick up the role when shippmann got the Germany job or whatever he was gonna do next.

Could be that something about how they are working or he’s been tapped up, but there’s something else going on.
This was the thing that struck me the most, and I've tried to rationally (taking away the blue-tinted glasses) what it would most likely be.

A sense of loyalty to him? Maybe, if they come as a unit. Is it contractual? Are they aware of his future plans and are, likewise, having a rest before moving on?

Has there been an issue behind the scenes, hence why they're leaving as a unit - maybe in line with some of the above? Are they aware of something?

I think the most likely scenario is, like he did at Dortmund, decided to move on to new pastures, but rather than go straight to a new club has a break.

Something behind the scenes may have instigated this, but who knows. He could simply want to try something new.

I think people are going a bit overboard with the conspiracy theories. Guardiola did similar at Barca - maybe being the manager of a club with a huge profile is a genuinely stressful role. You don't see many managers hanging around for so long at clubs as Klopp has over there.

Story goes that Linders' is looking to start his own management career and the Klopp's backroom know that a new boss usually wants to bring their own staff into key positions. Several backroom staff moving on when the manager leaves is nothing unusual in football. It's not like they're all local lads - maybe it's just a naturally sensible point for some of them to call time on their spell in England.

Linders and Matos have both said they want to get going in their own managerial careers. Linders had already left once and came back after getting sacked by NEC.

Krawietz is Klopps No.2 and has always worked alongside him since his Mainz days - a new manager pretty much always brings in their own No2 so it makes absolute sense he is leaving as well.

The Sporting Director leaving seems odd as he was only recently appointed but he isn't part of Klopp's staff. The rest of the backroom including numerous coaches and pretty much the entire fitness / conditioning staff are all staying.

Sporting Director aside there really isn't anything odd about it at all.
