Klopp to step down.

Clearly a fantastic coach so obviously will be a big loss for them

But I'd fully expect them to bring in someone really good as a replacement too. They aren't going to suddenly turn into a rubbish team unfortunately just because they lose a top

You'd wonder alright.

On the face of it the reason given for leaving is refreshing to hear from someone in any walk of life. He wants to take a break just to live and spend time with people. Good on him if that genuinely is the case.
Nailed on for the Germany job.

It's clearly good news but I'm not getting too carried away as seen it too many times them landing on their feet.

I bet my dad was made up when Shankly naffed off, then Paisley comes in and wins European Cups.

They lose their best players and fluke better ones, Fowler, Owen, Torres, Suarez, Salah. Apart from the odd season I've never known them without a top, top finisher. United haven't had one in years.

The damage has been done with Klopp as he's got them back to the top where they can win anything they enter. After Benitez, they were stuck in a crap cycle of managers like Hodgson, Dalglish, Rodgers. They had no right really even approaching Klopp when they did.

Just got to hope for once something normal happens to them and they struggle replacing a long serving manager, like Wenger, Moyes, Ferguson,
