I owned many shops for many years in Liverpool. I had many great customers who were in truth the majority of my trade. But in truth as with all areas of Britain there is a minority of pure uneducated, evil and ignorant scum. I was stabbed twice and shot at three times and was very lucky in some respects.

The only way to sort the knife epidemic is to treat them just like guns. If you are caught with one a mandatory 15 years sentence should be implemented. Some may say there is no room in the prisons. Then build more-if they waste money going to war in Iraq they can build more prisons.

Being the victim of racist attacks and having your families life threaten because you reported someone stealing from the shop you paid for and items you struggled to buy is not acceptable.

I agree completely, why stop at building more bring back capital punishment for those convicted of murder and serious crimes.

Apparently the man arrested was someone she was having an affair with. This country has gone downhill the last ten years with regards to underage violence. I was brought up in care in Merseyside and never remember any knives/guns used at any time, there was always a fight to be had but weapons were seen to be used by sh*tbags, nowadays it seems to be a badge of courageand i'm only 29 so it wasn't that long ago. Even when kids do get caught with a weapon the bizzies just take the weapon and the most they get is a caution as "the jails are packed". Makes you defo worry about what the country will be like by the time my kids grow up
