Remember his Everton training sessions?

A manager who couldn't have been any further away from what this club stands for. He treated it as a 9-5 job (if that) and set this club back years, which we are only now slowly recovering from today.

Absolute fraud with a big ego, shouldn't have been anywhere near the club from the get go. We had all the money in the world at one point and decided to appoint him. Moshiring must have been watching a few Barcelona 90s DVDs at that point.

I don't mind a manager treating it as a 9 to 5 if they are competent. Koeman is just an egotistical bloater who is living off success as a player, but hasn't done anything of note as a manager. He's what Steven Gerrard is now.

Koeman was every bit as bad as Martinez. The only difference was Martinez inherited a largely solid, professional squad so took longer to do the damage.

Koeman inherited a less balanced squad, with Marinez-era transfer failures all over the place. Therefore when Koeman made similar errors, there wasn't a solid spine in place in the team to buy him time.

Both poor. Both contributed to our downturn. Both stubborn about refusing to admit their errors.

Perhaps the teams ultimately match their manager.

Koeman's team had no spine. Benitez's team was out of date with a useless flabby centre. Allardyce's team was covered in gravy and brown envelopes.

Koeman's first season was fine, what could have been built upon when we had Europe was lost when the whole club agreed to sign the players they did.

It can't be completely his fault but he was of course culpable as a part of the group of conspirators that supposedly worked for the betterment of the club.

Horrible human being though and he can't blame that on anyone else.
