He was no worse then Jelevic.

He was... Yes, I get it, people irrationally dislike Jelavic but let's be realistic here, Jelavic has never pit in a performance quite as bad as that ever.

My main worry is whether he's best used as a counter attacking striker. He was great against us when the ball was played to him when he was the only player in our half, he had loads of space to run into and could use his pace and strength to bully heitinga. When we're pinning teams back i'm not sure if he'll have the same impact.

Fellaini had a sh*te start for us, Pienaar did, Baines was very average as was Jagielka and Distin.

Writing players off after one game isn't too wise lids, think on. If he's still producing that level of performance at the end of the season I'll be with you, but it's he's just made his first competitive start.

Let's swerve the flop flopping and general tittishness on here and swerve that type of post even if were getting beat and feel frustrated. It looked a f*cking horror show for any blue looking to sign up to the forum tonight, I'd have given it a wide berth.

It's never justified to write one of your own players off after one game. Doesn't matter whether they eventually get better or not, it's a strange way for a 'fan' to act.

Some on here are more eager to be able to scream 'i was right about X player being gash' than support their team.
