I haven't seen a scrap of evidence to support those outrageous claims nev. I'd hang fire on the apology on this occasion...just some desperate Kopites trying to get their propaganda in it looks to me.

Yeah I wasn't referring to those rumours at all. The liverpool propaganda machine is not to be underestimated.
Every Club has a minority, we got Damon FFS, its when the meltness becomes a majority and theres not many Clubs whos entire fanbase is full of utter bellwhiffs, but dem kopites, dem kopites man.

I hate to say it, but to me SAF has been playing some corporate game here and not forcing through a few more key signings. Last season I thought they finished the campaign struggling to get over the finish line with pretty piss poor chasers behind them. It's a season too far without really addressing the situation for me and City are formidable challengers. Going forward they're ok for now. But that centre of defence needed gutting and they dont really have too much presence in m/f (Jones is good...certainly a better purchase than Henderson for Libpool. but it's not enough).
I fear #20 and a nightmare for the kopites is a pipedream, atm.
City just look head and shoulders above everything.
I know they have the odd turkey, but when they are up for it they are fearsome.
The only shining light is the fact that personally I feel Mancini is an AWFUL Manager and he is defo their weak link.

Fergie signed 2 cracking players in Smalling and Jones, but hes yet again dropped a clanger with his Keeper, that blinky in goal makes Howard look like Banks.

I fully understand it's a minority that's why I made sure I stated it mate. When you consider the lack of trouble when you come to Goodison compared to their ground it makes you think something needs sorting though.

I cant bare City, but they are the force to be reckoned with. I can only hope the wheels fall off around Easter when they realise they might actually win the title and they begin to choke.
Agree 100% about the GK too. He's got zero authority. When you think back to Schmichael (no Frank, not the Corry dog FFS!) and van der Saar - he's a major reason for an already shakey and usually makeshift CB pairing playing poorly.

Evans is hopeless too. Smalling is ok there at a push. Even a big ****ing pudding like Carroll is worth a start against that United defence atm.

United are missing Vidic big time. You knew it would massively affect their season when he got injured in that CL game - it could cost them the title. He's far from finished, whereas Rio isn't.
