Plenty of people here are baying for Terry's blood mate. Personally I think he's innocent. I base this on the fact that what was allegedly said was shouted and well within the vescinity of several black players and Ferdinand himself didn't react. If he did say it, it was purely in the heat of the moment. Wrong and punishable, but nowhere near as bad as Suarez. Suarez repeatedly said what he said in Evra's ear deliberatly to get at him, and it wasn't in anger- he was enjoying winding Evra up.

And then there of course is the issue of Chelsea handling it with dignity. No T Shirts, no manager coming out and saying the other person is lying, no we are the victims attitude.

They are completely different incidents. Let's not pretend like they are.

The law is handling it not the FA. Personally I think they should get on with it and whatever the result is, so be it.......

Because the CPS bought the case against Terry, not the FA. If the CPS had bought a case against Suarez he'd be treated the same. Terry is facing a criminal charge, Suarez wasn't, although I wouldn't be sorry if the ratfaced little ****er was.

It's not one rule for one and not the other. The two aren't comparable.

A complaint about it was made by a member of the public to the police. The FA can't have their hands on it until any legal case has been fought. If Terry is found guilty in court then the FA will punish him accordingly.

No idea mate, I'd guess there might be more evidence come forward other than that video, otherwise I can't see why the CPS would bother as no jury would convict him based on a dodgy video where you can't actually seewhat's been said, either that or they fully expect a jury of Arsenal and Spurs fans.

I don't think he said it if I'm honest. And if he did, it was in the heat of the moment, once in anger. Something which I'm sure he would regret if true. Should be punished but its nowhere near the Suarez thing. Most people on here its the fact that he's cockney and a bit of a prick rather than anything else. Quite ridiculous really.

They simply cannot understand that there are clubs to which United doesn't really matter all that much. Everything in their world is filtered through the deep spiteful envy of United that is their deepest an often only football emotion.

i think most mancs hate leeds as much as LFC, maybe even more. the kopites think they are the only team that should matter. and dont ever forget the kopites seething bitter hatred towards notts forrest when they were winning stuff in europe, man u only ever came into LFC sights coz they started winning big and the kopites jealousy took over and man u became the team to hate. most man u fans cant be arsed with liverpool most of the time
