One thing we've lacked for a while now Toff are players with a bit of snide about them (I love snide) not snide like diving etc, more so players who'll take no crap off opposition players, players who would have been bent over Laporte having a right pop at him for totally wiping out Walcott the other night, or tackling him taking the ball but also going right through him at the same time. We need players along the lines of the Peter Reid's of the game, not the cowardly, whimpering beauts we have now.

It'd definitely depend on the price and how he'd be used in the squad.

If I had to choose between him and Keane, I'd probably say sell Keane and buy Zouma, with the caveat that neither of them would be in my first-choice back two next year.

Chelsea will want £20m+ and he just isn’t worth it. We know what his qualities are and they just aren’t enough. We need two new CBs, and neither should be Keane or Zouma.

Of course he can have the odd rick in him but dont they all.
He is very good in open play.

Similarly, why do people think £20-£25m is just throwaway change for us right now after what’s happened these past few years? That amount of money for a player who is simply “good enough for our squad” is not feasible. If we’re spending those sort of sums it needs to be on a player who is going to come in and improve our first team noticeably, which he hasn’t.

Hate to tell you this mate but you ain't watching everton if that's your opinion of zouma.

Most of the goals we've conceded from set-pieces have been in Zouma's 'zone' though.

He's a problem defending set-pieces, because he just doesn't know how to mark space or the man.

West ham bought 2 cb's who are both better then zouma for a combined 25m and wolves bought boly for around 10m.

There are players out there if you look for them.

Zouma, relegated with Stoke last season, a central part of the atrocious defence we have this season, is good enough for our squad.

And people wonder why we don’t improve.

I despair at some of our fans, I really do.
