It was a little while ago now but as I recall Eto'o was felled by Lehman, the ball ran to Guily who put it into the empty net. The ref had blown for the foul however and the goal didn't stand.
I'm sure if a similar incident had occured for Everton I would have wanted a red card as well because anything less would have let Arsenal off scott free. I suspect most of the players would have preferred the goal to have stood but the ref didn't give them that option.
