Has anyone seen this heidous waste of tax payers money in Liverpool Centre. For those not aware/or dont live here its a 50ft giant spider, currently attached to a empty building but eventually will be scurrying the streets of liverpool in the name of entertainment.

1) What a complete waste of tax payers money probably born out of an idea by chief luvvie Phil 'I get f**king everywhere' Redmond
2) Very insensitive to people with genuine fear of spiders, a not uncommon fear and seeing a 50ft version of 1 is going to allay your fear
3) The streets of the centre are bad enough trying to get around with out further streets getting shut for this so called 'entertainment'

But just think of the poor spider, its way more scared of us than we are of it

God knows how much money it actually cost. If its all from sponsership or whatever i think something like this is good and something different is always interesting. But if it comes from tax payers money than its just a waste.

Norwich has been invaded by painted elephants lately and theyve really made the city look nice. Doubt a metal spider can do that.

Why not! Just for the hell of it. If you don't do stuff out of the ordinary just for the hell of it now and again, you'll just be a boring get!
Bit blinkered to just say it costs loads of money and therefore its a waste of cash. There is more to life than measuring things by the amount it costs!

I love stuff like this. Just things that are not everyday mundane things that people end up seeing and taking for granted.
The lambanana's were good to look at too. My kids were made up with them as well.

Sometimes you have to forget you are an adult and just be a 6 year old kid again and see things for what they are and not how they got there. Have fun and enjoy stuff a bit!
