Adds a bit of interest to the city. You can't just measure things in terms of cost. If you did, cities would be utilitarian consisting of breeze blocks and concrte, without any imagination whatsoever. A bit of art is good, I think. Unless it is [Poor language removed] modern art with a "message" or "moral" to instruct the "idiot" masses. I'm not too happy about it then.

Bit blinkered to just say it costs loads of money and therefore its a waste of cash. There is more to life than measuring things by the amount it costs!

I love stuff like this. Just things that are not everyday mundane things that people end up seeing and taking for granted.
The lambanana's were good to look at too. My kids were made up with them as well.

Sometimes you have to forget you are an adult and just be a 6 year old kid again and see things for what they are and not how they got there. Have fun and enjoy stuff a bit!

That's a fair point. Finding a balance is always difficult and when it comes down to it everyone ought to favour social projects over art.

Coyney, I am scouse through and through just because I no longer live in the city does not mean I cannot say anything and anyway if you really read my post I was taking the piss out of HB.

Thousands of others no longer live in the city but I like many have been back down there this year so up yours.
