Labour has stated it is not the party of protest in relation to the Israeli action in Gaza. I work with an arabic friend whose cousin was shot in the neck and killed because he tried to open his shop which still had some stock. Palestinians are being told to evacuate areas. Apart from having nowhere to go, the roads are being bulldozed so they cant use the cars. The Israeli government (and I stress not the majority of Jewish people, this is not a religion issue) have treated Palestinian people like trash for years. I also understand this is out of fear.

Starmer needs to grow a pair. As well as this we have food banks that can't meet demand. Even middle class kids can't find somewhere to live.
Zero hours contracts are allowed to exist.
Tax policy favours the mega rich.
Joe and Josephine average are poorer every day.
If Labour does not protest it is bankrupt of ideas and betraying the people it is supposed to represent.

Look up Gary's Economics on You Tube. An incredibly bright former city trader who knows how it works.

Currently labour look as though they will win an election - not because Starmer has ideas or charisma, but because the tory greed-fest has come to the attention of the nation and even the paper media who give us our (forever) tory government realise they will lose circulation if they try to defend the self serving crooks. As a result I suspect Labour are playing it safe. They have no answers, there are no answers. If they speak up they would likely get lambasted if they shut up they're safe.

I don't like it, but I get it. We are a weak nation on the global scale with pitifully unintelligent leaders of any colour rosette in Westminster. What ya gonna do.
