bicarb of soda is one thing, but soda crystals are quite another...sodium carbonate decahydrate, use the appropriate safety coverings when messing about with this stuff.Have you tried leaving bicarb of soda on it for a while, then adding white vinegar. Proper shifts stuff. Might need a few rounds, but it works.
Soda crystals mixed in with water is cat hot on grease.
Oh, and stop being such a bad scruff and clean mote frequently / change the charcoal filters in your cooker hood (or get one).
