Does all smack a little bit of hefty (and very good) PR from Sunderland and Moyes. Player doesn't get promised contract. Much better club comes in with a good offer. Player wants to go, fans are on players side because he never got the promised contract and are annoyed at the club.

Lowball player 50k when they know we're offering him loads more to play at a much higher level under a much better manager - win/win situation, either (likely) they offload unsettled player for a load of dosh they can reinvest and look like the 'good guys', or (unlikely) player signs cheap new contract.

I am not that arsed, I realised when Rooney left that it's all bollox anyway.

If Lukaku wants to play CL footy then that's his prerogative.........he should be allowed to do what he wants. Contracts just mean you can get a better fee for them.

People need to stop being precious about it, there are far more important things to worry about.

Sorry mate I just found it very insensitive for a "blue" to come out with it, that's all.

Chances are we haven't stumped up enough cash (like Chelsea bidding lower than out valuation of lukaku) or that can't get/haven't yet got an adequate replacement (like stones last year) and everyone kicks off when it happens to us, as much as I want Everton to do well I'd rather avoid somebody who was willing to kick up this much of a fuss, while having a blatant disregard for the club who is currently making him very rich and more importantly the fans, who pay exorbitant amounts of money to cheer him on!

Moyes was always very good at doing this with us. Made the likes of Rooney, Lescott etc the bad guys

Of course. Moyes needs that 20 mil but doesn't want to get on the wrong side of the fans.

I saw a picture on google the other day of Theresa May and Harriet Harman doing sexual acts to each other, I never want to see that again.

I remember how we laughed when Saurez wanted to leave and the reds fumed calling him a racist beast who bites and that they had standards of how players should behave. He signed a new contract as few weeks later and he was the best player in the world again and El negirito was a friendly term again in Uruguay. Plus the Chelsea grock and Italian cheat pushed there arm and shoulder into his mouth.

100%. All we are asking for is some consistency.

Sunderland are endangering Kone's health and should accept a bid of one pound from Everton.

He's defo a boyhood blue too. Our year etc.
